Italy continued their 100% record in Group J of the EURO 2020 Qualifiers as they beat Liechtensein by five goals to nil. Italy had already booked their place in the EURO 2020 finals with a win on Saturday over Greece. They continued their perfect start with an emphatic victory over Liechtensein.
Italy wasted no time to open the scoring as Bernardeschi swept in Biraghi’s cross into the back of the next with two minutes on the clock. Liechtensein tightened their defense a bit with couple of saves from their goalkeeper as they prevented Italy from scoring again in the first half. The same continued until the 70th minute when Belotti headed in a well delivered corner kick into the back of the net.
Romagnoli made it three seven minutes later as he converted El Shaarawy’s cross. El Shaarawy scored the fourth goal himself in the 82nd minute and Belotti wrapped up the scoring as he scored the final goal in the 92nd minute.
